Reminder of Up-and-Coming Events:
Graduation will take place in the high school gym on May 13th at 1:00pm. We do
not reserve or block off sections of seats for families in the gym. Instead, you are
welcome to enter the gymnasium when it opens at 11:00am and reserve up to 10
seats on the floor or in the bleachers for the graduation ceremony for your
families.
FBLA State Leadership Conference
The Chadron High Future Business Leaders of America attended the annual State Leadership Conference in Kearney, NE on April 2-5. While at the conference, students participated in a big business tour of Cash Wa Distributing where students learned about the inner workings of a distribution business.

Student Scheduling For Next Year Begins!
From CHS School Counselor, Loni Watson
We will start pulling students (9-12 grade) for initial scheduling sessions next week. We start with course requests so I can get a basic number of who would like to take which class - after that, I start building the master schedule and you will get a first draft. After the first draft is made if you'd like a 1-1 appointment to look over schedules we can set a time after the master is made and tweak to meet individual needs once we have a grasp of where classes will be offered.

Testing Sensory Organs
My anatomy and physiology class participated in a sensory lab in order to have a better understanding of our sensory organs. We formed groups of three and used the “Ward’s testing your sensory organs” packet to complete each test. Throughout the lab, we tested out our vision, chemoreceptors, and thermoreceptors in many different tests.
Two State Wrestling Champions Crowned!
Congratulations to Kenli Boeselager and Quinn Bailey! Each returned home from the 2023 NSAA Nebraska State Wrestling Championships as the State Champion! Also, a congratulations to our other medalists: Rhett Cullers - 4th and Fia Rasmussen - 6th.
CHS Qualifies 5 Girls and 4 Boys for State Wrestling Tournament!

Best of the West Business Competition
Chadron FBLA participated in the fifth annual Best of the West Business competition on January 25, 2023 at Chadron State College. Students participated in several business tests and job interviews. Chadron had 12 students attend the competition.
