Annual Title VI Native American Education Meeting - Monday, March 2 @ 3:30p

All Native American families and Native American high school students are welcome to attend our annual Title VI meeting on Monday, March 2 @ 3:30 PM in CO Conference Room.  
At the meeting we will be reviewing committee bylaws and the Title VI application.

Chadron FBLA Teaches Enterprise to 5th Grade

Paper Airplanes Used to Teach about Free Enterprise This year the Chadron High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) created an American
Enterprise Project to teach local fifth-graders about the free enterprise economy and a better
understanding of supply and demand. The theme for the Chadron FBLA chapter this year was “Take Flight with FBLA” which
tied into the American Enterprise Project because the project centered around a paper
airplane simulation. The project also included a presentation and a vocabulary-matching

STEM Club at Chadron Public Library

Greetings,We would like to share with your school families that the Chadron Public Library STEM club is having its first meeting on Monday evening, January 27th from 6:30-7:30 PM. 

FFA Results from the January Competition

Once again, the Chadron FFA team makes a strong appearance in the district competitions. On January 8th, four different teams traveled to WNCC in Scottsbluff to compete in the first CDE of the year. The CDE, Career Development Event, teams consisted of Welding, Floriculture, Ag Sales, and Livestock Management. Out of the four teams, two are going to state to represent the Chadron chapter. The Cardinal Singers Caroling in Chadron

The Cardinal Singers toured around town on Dec. 20th to sing holiday cheer on our last day of the semester.

CHS Door Decorating Contest

The second annual Student Council Door Decorating Contest was judged today!  Students in their 1st block class were asked to decorate their teacher's door. All student designed and created doors were judged on the 16th.

Thank you to the Chadron Student Council for bringing some holiday cheer to CHS!

CHS Teams Wins 3rd Place in State 'Find Your Genius' Challenge

Congratulations to Blaine Tewahade, Chris Rolfsmeier, Thomas Kaus and Blake Hinman who placed 3rd in the state in the Find Your Genius Challenge! The “Find Your Genius Challenge” is a state-wide contest over a 7-day period competing through virtual internships.  These students partnered with Goodwill of Nebraska and Symphony Workforce to devise a service or product which helps alleviate the emotiona

Lauren Collins Named USSYP Alternate

Lauren CollinsCongratulations to CHS Senior, Lauren Collins! Lauren was selected as the Nebraska alternate for the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP)! The scholarship program is highly competitive.
