Chadron Intermediate School

A huge THANK YOU to our families and friends for ordering and to Domino's for their generous donation to CIS following our Intermediate School Night on March 27th! Mr. Gregory's 3rd grade class won the pizza party and enjoyed their treat last week for lunch.

Last week our Teammates Table was full! We created a special space for our mentors and mentees to spend time together during lunch and love seeing it being used!
Thank you to the Chadron Teammates program and mentors that are spending time with our students! The students love having each of you visit! Any student may request a mentor and with parent permission we will do our best to find them one!

The students did a great job leading our spring Parent-Teacher Conferences last week. 4th graders especially enjoyed sharing what they have been learning in science with an experiment! Thank you to all of the parents that came!

3rd and 4th grade students learned about the Armed Forces, veterans, the significance of Veteran's Day and how to demonstrate American pride during a recent Cards Club activity. They made this flag of appreciation that will be sent to the men and women who are overseas with their messages.

Mrs. Olson's class's "Be a Buddy, Not a Boo-lly" door won the CIS door decorating contest held in October for Bully Prevention Month! All of the doors looked fantastic!

Chadron Public Schools 2022 Health Screenings Dear Parents/Guardians: We hope this letter finds each of you and your families off to a great school year! We are writing to let you know that the required school health screenings will be held on November 8-10, 2022. These screenings are not only a requirement by the State of Nebraska but also very important in early diagnosis of potential barriers in a student’s ability to learn and grow!

Thank you to the Chadron Public Library for the wonderful "Ocean Worlds: Potential for Life" bookmarks! The 3rd & 4th graders will enjoy being able scan for NASA activities and games as well.
