Q and U Wedding

Friday afternoon Chadron Primary School hosted the Q and U Wedding.  These two letters were joined in two beautiful ceremonies (to accommodate our classes) where students were, (Quiet Please sign holders, Quarterbacks, and Queens).  Mrs. Uhing united the two letters as we need them for reading and spelling.  The festivities ended with refreshments and dancing.  Thank you to all of the families that came to our celebration and contributed with snacks.

Reading Visitors

On Thursday and Friday we had Reading visitors at Chadron Primary School.  We were lucky enough to have some 8th graders from Chadron Middle School, a couple of players from CSC's basketball team, and some students from Job Corps.  Our students love having visitors and we enjoyed our day of celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday.  Thank you to everyone who came to read, our students LOVE having you!

If only...

If only we could capture the enthusiasm and wonder that comes with being a student at Chadron Primary...  to lose your first tooth and get to show the Princessipal your new tooth hole and necklace and the teamwork and fun that comes from building a snow fort with your friends.
David lost his first tooth and could hardly wait to share his story during lunch.

We celebrated 100th day in style at Chadron Primary School.  Walking around the building you could see ties, headbands, activities, and many other celebrations to commemorate the 100th day of school.  We are 100 days smarter, kinder, safer, more respectful, and more responsible.  We are so proud of our students - keep up the GREAT work!

CSC Football Players and Parents help with Read Naturally Lab

Members of the Chadron State College Football Team have been volunteering their time to help out in our Read Naturally Lab.  These gentlemen visit our Primary Building every week to listen to our kindergarten students read and assist them in reading fluency and comprehension.  We also have a dedicated set of parents who volunteer their time as well.  Thank you Parents, Coach Larson, and CSC Football!
