Chadron Public Schools is in need of certified substitute teachers. If you would be interested in working with students while earning extra income, please consider completing one of the applications linked with the two certificates below.
State Substitute Teaching Certificate:
Gaining the State Substitute Teaching Certificate requires that you have held a teaching certificate in Nebraska, or a state with equivalent requirements. This would indicate that you have completed a teacher preparation program at the bachelor’s degree level at minimum, as well as the necessary human relations and special education courses.

Local Substitute Teaching Certificate:
Gaining the Local Substitute Teaching Certificate requires that you have completed at least 60 hours of college credit in an educator preparation program, and the human relations course requirement.
