Students at Chadron Primary School have been practicing many of our school safety drills.  Students recently participated in the statewide tornado drill and took part in taking shelter - in our schools we call this a Shelter Drill.  A few weeks ago, students participated in our Lockdown Drill in which students remained in classrooms and listened to the announcement of "Locks, Lights, Out of Sight".  All students and staff did a tremendous job of being prepared for emergency situations.  Later this Spring we will also practice another Shelter Drill in which students will practice getting in from the playground space and back into the building quickly and safely.  We are so proud of our students and staff and appreciate the guidance from the i love u guys Foundation for protocols.
