Last week CIS Students and Staff recognized the importance of being a bucket filler rather than a bucket dipper. The discussions and activities were based on the book How Full is your Bucket?
The story is based on the idea that everyone has an invisible bucket and that we all need positives to fill our bucket. When someone's bucket is empty, they sometimes react in a negative or mean way. When you fill someone else's bucket, it also fills your own. Students also discussed the importance of masks and how they were feeling about the coronavirus.
We had some great discussion and were able to see other people's viewpoints.
