Chadron Primary students are so fortunate to have community support like we have from Main Street Dental!! Dr. Travis Lambert made a generous donation to assist children with their lunch funds. We would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Dr. Lambert and his entire staff at Main Street Dental. When you see him out and about town please extend your gratitude as well. This donation was able to help so many of our students get seconds at lunch or clear unpaid lunch balances for children who may need assistance. Again, we cannot thank you enough Dr. Lambert!!

Our students always learn a lot and get so excited to hear about the vehicles and see all of the gear used by the firefighters. Students learned about checking the batteries in fire alarms so again, if you have not had conversations at home, please do so about your family's safe meeting spot and proper working fire alarms.

Mrs. Ferguson's First Grade students created some wonderful pictures of a farmer with a hay rack. They had an example; however, this was all done free handed. Such creative work from these hard working first graders.
Chadron Primary students were treated to a visit from Cardinals Committed softball players. The players took time out of their lunch hour to come have lunch and visit with our students. "I wanted to take a moment to send out a quick and HUGE THANK YOU to each and every person who made the Penny Wars Fundraiser a success! Without the help from the CPS staff, principals, students, parents, and community members, we NEVER would have raised $2814 for the Kubo family. I know without a doubt that the money you all raised has not only lifted a piece of the financial burden that they are feeling, but it has raised their spirits knowing that they have a community that is backing them in the battle that Barb and the family are currently going through.
