Learn how to ride your bike safely, avoid hazards, yielding, start and stopping, ride the obstacle course (Bring your own bike to school), bike tune ups and maintenance help, receive a FREE bike license and registration from the Chadron Police Department.

Third grade PrognosticatorsThis Friday we talked about the weather and how the month of March comes in like a lamb or a lion. We brainstormed about characteristics of lambs and lions and discussed how lamb or lion weather would present itself. Then we chose a lamb or lion to decorate and place on our door to make our weather predictions for March. We will see what happens.
CIS students like to have a little fun on Friday's so during lunch we play music and dance. You would be surprised by the many different types of music the students request. The dancing creates a lot of excitement in the cafeteria and sometime the adults join in on the fun!
7 Great Reasons Why You Should Dance-Even if you can't!
Students at Chadron Intermediate School celebrated Dr. Suess's birthday (March 2) by reading a favorite book. At 10:00 we all stopped, dropped and read. We also enjoyed a cupcake (thanks to Mrs. Hirning) during the celebration. Students watched their video during lunch and seemed to enjoy the day!
