This year students from Chadron Public Schools and Sioux County Schools participated in our Change for Changing Lives Campaign in November. Chadron Community Hospital’s Change for Changing Lives is a program that involves the participation of local schools in fundraising competitions to benefit our Circle of Light Program, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance directly to local cancer patients. The competition pits all classes within the school against each other to see which class can raise the most money within a month. There is only one winning class within each

Change for Changing Lives-Chadron Community HospitalLast year’s Change for Changing Lives drive was a huge success (we raised $590 for local cancer patients thanks to your little warriors) The winning classroom enjoyed the Subway Parties. We will participate again in November. Chadron Community Hospital will be donating free FLU SHOTS to staff. We will start the drive November 1st and end the last day in November the 30th . Change jars bill be brought to each classroom.
Cardinal Block students entertained residents at Crestview this week. The kids enjoyed the experience and some new friendships were made. Thank you Miss Scheer and Miss Greitens for thinking of our friends at Crestview!
The Keep Chadron Beautiful Recycle Bowl will begin on Monday, October 15th and run through November 15th. KCB will set up recycle bins on the South side of the CIS playground again this year. Please encourage students to put recyclable items in the bin.

Chadron Intermediate SchoolUpcoming EventsParent Teacher ConferencesParent Teacher Conferences this year will be October 15 & 16 from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Typically our Fall Conferences are scheduled with the teachers throughout the afternoon/evening. Please be sure to be on time and be aware that there are others meeting right after you. If you need more time to visit with you child's homeroom teacher, please schedule additional time at a later date. We are looking forward to seeing you again and discussing your child's progress.
