CIS - Parent Teacher Conferences

No School on Friday as well!
Students are released this Thursday at 1:15. There will not be the regular After-School-Program (CIA) offered that afternoon. This semester’s conferences will be different than in the past as we will have student-led conferences. We are very excited to allow your student to be the star of the show as they tell you about what they have been learning in school. The opportunity is so valuable, as it will allow the students to show off their strengths, acknowledge their weaknesses, and with your help, set goals for the rest of the school year.
At the time of your conference, there will be 3-4 other parents with their students in the classroom meeting with their child as well. The teacher will be circulating to meet with each one of you after our child has shown off his/her folder. The time you signed up for will be you hour block. You may come any time during that hour, but please plan for 15-20 minutes in the homeroom classroom. You are also welcome to stop in any other classroom your child visits during the day.
We would like you to have the opportunity to give your child your undivided attention, so making other arrangements for siblings would be appreciated. If this is not possible, limited childcare will be available during your scheduled time.
